Getting old and frail...

It's nice to know I'm relatively respected around the office, cause I had several different individuals today wish me a happy birthday. On the other hand, I am sorely reminded that I will be too old too soon.

When I was over at Rachel's celebrating New Year's and getting my face stuffed, I could barely hold my own with a glass of a wine and less than half a can of beer. With this poor excuse for an alcohol tolerance, it is clearly evident that I am almost over the hill and obselete.

Let me meditate on my past achievements since my last birthday... actually, there's quite alot, and I've learned quite a bit. In fact, it's probably been the most significant year in my life thus far. Achievements and regrets, love and hate, drama and boredom. All there. I can safely say I am happy as a clam now. Maybe. Who knows.

I realized I have a pet peeve with people who continually say 'however' in real life. I was chosen randomly to go to a student focus group, and there was this annoying student who kept talking like his opinion was better than everyone's elses, and he always went like this: point point blah blah blah blah HOWEVER, blah blah blah blah. HE MUST HAVE DONE THAT EVERY OTHER SENTENCE HE TALKED, WHICH, BY THE WAY, WAS A HELL OF A LOT. Retard.

Anyways, /end rant. I'm done for today.
